The Undecided band came together as a product of supply and demand. Russ Jones (Guitar) and Randy Forrest (Percussion) playing as the Tropical Yuppies ran into a daughter of an old mutual friend (Janna Ivey) and she said she could sing.. wow... could she ever! From the moment she sang her first note she was part of the band! Janna brought that missing element that was needed, and within a few weeks the phone was ringing non stop! The big venues are calling! We play all kinds of music. Randy is influenced by Rock a billy groups like Southern Culture on the Skids, and the Reverand Horton Heat. Russ loves the guitar licks of Mark Knophler and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Put that together with Janna, at 24 years old loving the contemporary music of CeeLo Green, Michael Bouble', Jason Mraz, Sublime, and you have a WIDE range of music from this group. Once the Tropical Yuppies added Janna they were immediatly nominated for Cover band of the year by Brevard Live Magazine in 2012 and Randy Forrest Won the award for drummer of the year. With Randy's drum licks and versitility (he also plays ukulele, banjo, congas, bongos, cajon, and even a kazoo). Russ Jones playing lead, rhythm, and bass licks, and Janna Ivey arguably the best female voice in Central Florida, The Undecided band is ready to rock any event and can entertain a room of any size.
